October 3rd update.

Sorry folks, still not enough egg production to sell. However, the rain and cooler temperatures give me hope for a restart. I will keep you up to date.

Hello everyone. I am glad to see we are finally out of triple digit heat. It is seriously about time! Hopefully the girls will start laying again in the next couple weeks. I will keep you posted here.

Hello everyone. I am sorry to report there are no eggs to sell again this weekend. If the weather breaks, the girls will likely start laying with a month.

I am sorry to report that due to the unrelenting heat over the past couple months, our hens have stopped laying. We have about 70 hens and eggs are on my own grocery list today.

Sorry folks but we are already sold out this weekend. We have about 70 girls but this extended heat wave that just seems to get worse week after week has our egg production down to less than a dozen a day. The girls are spending all their energy just surviving.

Sorry folks, we are sold out for the weekend. The girls are struggling with this heat wave that just won't let up.

Hello all. Just a heads up that we have already sold out of eggs today.

We have struggled with rat snakes stealing eggs, broody girls not laying, and the heat.

Please check back with us next weekend
