Inspired by the historic butchers in the Northeastern US, Southern Steer Butcher opened its first store in Clearwater, Florida, in 2013.

Southern Steer Butcher quickly became known for their signature marinated products, especially steak tips (their most popular selling item), and their commitment to local communities in which they operate.

Fast forward to today: by the end of 2026, Southern Steer Butcher will have 26 locations open in 15 states, with a location opening soon in your neighborhood! The best part?
