Took some snow pictures of the cows today. We had a couple days of some intense weather! They were all enjoying soaking up the sunshine even though it’s only 14 degrees! They are dirty and fluffy and this isn’t a “prime time” for pretty pictures of them but they are fat, happy and healthy and we think they are pretty no matter what time of the year! ❄️

This is our partnership bull with Kyle and Leah James and John King. His name is Sly Fox. We are so excited to welcome Sly back to 4 Oaks Farm in a couple months! This guy has grown up so much and he will be with several special ladies of ours very soon! His horn direction is everything we want to see, his color is amazing and he’s got a sire and dam that cannot he more beautiful so we are hoping for some beautiful cattle in the future from this guy!

There was an old picture of halter breaking Snapdragon in my FB memories today. She is about 8 1/2 months old in this picture. Below is Marigold, Snapdragon’s heifer from last year. She is roughly 9 1/2 months old in this photo from today!! I just think it’s amazing how Snapdragon not only absolutely out-produced herself but she was a first time momma too!! It’s been fun to watch our baby grow up and go on to be an amazing momma having babies of her own! Marigold is going to be fun to bring to some futurities this year! We are pretty excited about this heifer!

Miss Waneta June. This is one special cow. Today she turned 3 1/2 years old. Yesterday we measured her and she measured 84 1/2” TIP TO TIP. We also did a quick measurement of her TOTAL HORN- ready for this??? She measured 99 5/8” TOTAL HORN!!!
We are currently in the process or trying to AI her to the one and only MC Hangin Tuff!!!
Marianne Albanese helped us create this simplistic yet powerful ad for the upcoming Legacy! Keep your eyes peeled for it when you get your catalogue! We did something special for this and and we felt she deserved to be one to help showcase our herd at such a prestigious event.
While we cannot consign her, we have just flushed her mother, Shamrock Amazon Ann to Nifty Fifty and were successful with EIGHT embryos!! We have some tricks up our sleeve in the coming months so stay tuned!

Snapdragon has officially hit the 3 1/2 year mark and we have no clue what she measures tip to tip but we are guessing somewhere well over the 70” mark. She is just such a beautiful cow and continues to just get better and better with time just like her mother, Eternal Blossom. She’s colored just like her sire, Viper Dragon. AND, we are SO excited about her first calf, Marigold, who we feel is an outstanding young heifer!

Meadow Green Skittles and her beautiful heifer 5th Avenue. 5th Avenue’s horn growth is slower but if you look closely at her horn direction, all signs point towards TWIST! She’s so classy like her momma. This is one beautiful calf. She always stands out to me in the pasture.

I’d like to talk, a minute, about TINCUP 2258. This guy is really coming along and continues to prove to us that he’s worth keeping a bull.
This is a grandson of the great Fifty Fifty by way of the great Nifty Fifty! That means there are the powerhouse Vanilla Milkshake and Vanilla Puddin genetics in there.
He is a son of our awesome producer, Eternal Blossom. She has produced two futurity winning and high point heifers for us- Snapdragon 218 and Bird of Paradise.
He placed second in a tough class at the Great Northern Cheesehead Futurity. He is a very well-made light/blonde brindle with a bright blonde stripe running down his back. His horn direction rolls backward and he is on his way to measuring in the mid to upper 30’s TTT by his 1st birthday.
I have included photos of just a few animals in his pedigree as well as his POWERHOUSE half sisters!
This guy is built for production! He is also available. He will be too related to too many in our herd and he needs a great group of females very soon! We’ve raised him up and will show him at one more show for you! He is priced to sell! We might be willing to negotiate to the right program. We think he could be a great producer for the right program and want him to be successful! Check him out!

This is an accomplishment to us!!! We’ve watched so many make the gallery of horns. We’ve admired so many other cattle that didn’t belong to us and weren’t raised by us but NOW we have an animal in the gallery of horns!
Here’s what special about her, though... she is ONLY THREE!!! Although she may be buried in an ocean of other 80”+animals, SHE IS ONLY THREE!!!!!
And, to make it sweeter... she was bred and she is owned by us and she is a dream of an animal to own because not only is she beautiful but she is the sweetest girl too. ❤️❤️❤️ Love you Junie!!!
