“Evy has a little lamb, it’s fleece is white, it’s true.
When Evy comes to grandmas house,
Of course, the lamb comes too!”
This little lamb is just a few days old and has to be fed a few times a day. He will join Evy’s 4-H flock and go to the fair next year.
I’m not sure who is more lucky - Evy, for having all these animals to snuggle, or the lamb for having such a sweet girl to snuggle him!

TUESDAY - Growing Together Community Gardens • Great little market, with close parking, inexpensive vegetables, several other vendors along with Sandhills beef & honey!
THURSDAY - Integrity Convenience Store • Pull right up next to the trailer. Skip the long lines and the big crowds. Drive-up ordering available.
SATURDAY - Market @ West Acres • Several vendors of all manner of food stuffs. Breads, jellies, jams, salsa, canned goods, vegetables, and, of course Beef & Honey!

Some days, it’s good to turn the radio off, roll the window down, and just appreciate the beauty of my morning drive to work.
Is it any wonder I have a smile on my face when I pull in? ❤️
I’ll be pulling in at Gethsemane Church for the Growing Together Community Gardens Market, TODAY, 12-4pm. This is a GREAT market with a large amount of vegetables, flowers, bread, vanilla, gluten-free items, Blackbird Woodfire pizza, lemonade & (of course) BEEF & HONEY!

YOU HAVE A CHOICE! If you’re worried about inferior imported beef, find a rancher and buy it directly from the source. We likely can’t match the price point of cheaply raised beef, but I’ll guarantee you the flavor will knock it out of the park! The choice is yours.
I sell beef by the pound or by the quarter. If you want to know where your beef comes from, let’s visit.

I don’t know how long you’ve been training dogs, but have you considered training children, too? 🤷‍♀️

Well, um, technically… 😆
We have hives in two locations - one outside of McLeod, and one on our other headquarters halfway to Lisbon from McLeod. We are fortunate to have a beekeeper who tends to the bees and harvests the honey for us to bring to you. It’s pure ND Prairie Gold. You can find it at the Sandhills Family Farm trailer or shop at the farm.

“A little nosy, aren’t ya?!”
The rams spend a few months with the ewes at Dan’s, then they come back to manage w**d growth at the farm & shop. They’re quite effective at keeping the w**ds down.
Now to teach them the difference between w**ds & flowers. *sigh*

The neighbor’s cows found a way to beat the summer heat! They were all gathered together enjoying the cool mist from our irrigator as it passed by their pasture.
I gotta admit - it felt pretty good!
I’ll be beating the heat in LISBON today, at the Lisbon Inn from 2-4pm. See ya there!
