By the time they have been riding a horse for a week at the ranch, their bond is sealed with their 4-legged friend. Dad's, be prepared! All the way home you will hear them begging for a horse. Two special events happened this weekend. A visit from Ron’s fraternity brother and best man, Tom, and his wife Judy after not seeing them for nine years. Also, I attended granddaughter Ashlyn’s bridal shower in Big Timber,
and the wedding occurs in August. Good memories already!

Jump aboard! Our 1968 vintage Ford is heading to the ranch trout pond with guests aboard to give a fly fishing lesson a try. The pond is stocked with native cutthroat trout. It's always a thrill when one of those fish snag a fly and surprise the angler. Many have fun stories sto tell!

Remembering Memorial Day pauses us to think about the items from past guests visiting the ranch who shared their badges with us to place on our lodge wall. Each veteran had an interesting story to tell while making us more aware of their sacrifice and dedication involved in serving as veterans, law enforcement, and firefighters. Thanks to all who have served our country in various ways.
