Had a great time at the Sunflower Doe-Down Dairy Goat Show in Salina, KS this past weekend. Saw so many good friends and dairy goat enthusiasts, loved every minute. Special thanks to those back home that took care of the rest of the animals.
Came home with 3 special ribbons this year and was very happy with all the goats we took.

Today is just an absolute gorgeous day for Jan 12. Beautiful day to be out working with livestock.

2026 kidding season started yesterday with 12 yr old Sochi kicking it into gear.
This morning had quite the rain storm and was sure someone would go, but thankfully they have waited for the sun. Out waiting on Stella girl before I have to leave.

Plenty of milkers, yearling and kids will be available this year as we really need to cut our numbers down.

Update: shortly after posting I found Roux (Nubian) doing her thing and gave us twins B/D and then decided I better really check on Stella as she did need some assistance. Also gave us twins B/D, unfortunately the doe was already DOA.
