Here's my homemade, from scratch baked goods menu for Saturday; Spiced Pumpkin Bread with Pecan Crumble~ just like it sounds, pumpkin with warm fall spices and a sweet pecan crumble on top. Chocolate Zucchini Bread with Vanilla Glaze ~ tastes like a very moist rich chocolate cake with a delicious vanilla glaze (by far my all time best seller! Heads up to my previous Cottin's Hardware Farmers Market Fans! Spiced Apple Bread with Caramel Apple Glaze~ a moist tender texture with fall spices that are similar yet differnt than the pumpkin with a glaze that's reminiscent of carameled apples. Cinnamon Streusel Crumb Cake ~ a lovely butter crumb cake with layers of streusel through the center and on top and drizzeled with my vanilla glaze. Cheddar Beer Bread ~ a soft biscuit textured bread ribboned with cheddar throughout.

I'll also have our usual farm goods available, our pasture raised, 100% grassfed/grass finished beef, farm fresh, free range, Non GMO eggs, a few select homemade jams (I'm low on stock) and Moon Bee Honey from my niece Tori.

Please remember.... our farms food goods are NOT included in the discounts. With that said, nearly everything else in the farm store is FOR sale and ON Sale for 50% Off or more from original prices! Take 1/2 off of the lowest price on the tags!

Winter/Christmas is now in the farm store too! The store is so close to being ready for our Big Clearance SALE on Saturday, September 5, from 9:00 to 2:00, at 16609 54th Street, McLouth, KS.

Nearly everything is 50% off, including most of the furniture/displays! All floral, vintage finds, handmade gifts and so much more must go, as we are closing down this part of our business! Our farm foods ~beef, eggs, honey, jams and baked goods will be available for purchase on Saturday, but are NOT included in the discount.

Only 10 photos are allowed per post and it's so hard to choose! I'm hoping to share some addtional photos later this week as well as a menu of baked goods that I'll be making. Plans are to include some of your fall favorits!

There will be several signs to remind you that you can take an addtional 50% off the lowest price on the tags! That means many items are even more that 50% off their original price!

Fall side of the Farm Store is DONE for the most part! As I bring more things into the store, there might be a little more twirlling yet to finish with this side. I started tackling the East side ~ Christmas! No photos yet. It is a jumbled mess at present! It looks like I should be able to pull the displays together in time to get some baking done too. I'll give that some thought and post a menu later this week along with the Christmas items. Don't forget.....

Hey Everybody, I'm popping in this morning to answer some questons that are coming in.

1st~ I love you guys! Those of you who have reached out asking "Is everything is okay?" Bernie and I are simply ready to embrace the next step into slowing down. We'd rather spend more time with freinds and family. Afterall, we have 15 grandkids!

2nd~ "Can we still get farm goods from you?" Yes, you will still be able to get our farms goods, including baked goods. Simply call ahead of when you'd need them. We'll make it happen! 785-331-5284 (I've had some requests for baked goods during the sale. I'll know better after this weekend if I might have some time to bake. I'll post that if I'm able)

3rd~ "Have you added any addtional vintage items since we were last there?" Yes! There are some fun and intersting addtions.

4th~ "I've not been to your farm before. Are you easy to find?" Yes! We are very easy to find and you can enter Stony Ridge Farms, McLouth KS in your navagation and it will bring you here. If you have any concerns call me! This time of year, it is a lovely drive in the country, but very easy. Most roads are paved. 54th st is gravel.

5th~ "Will you have addtional days for the sale?" The plan is NO. We want everything out of the store ASAP. Current plans are to donate the remaining items, so that the farm store can be cleaned out. If you absolutly can not make the sale and are interested in something, reach out to me.

It’s Father’s Day this weekend! If you are in need ( or want🥰) of any of our usual farm goods for your Father’s Day celebrations reach out! We will be here Friday afternoon and evening preparing for our own celebration with family, and would be happy to arrange a time for you to stop in that afternoon or evening. I also have some time for baking if you’re looking for a special treat. Just let me know what you are looking for. 😉
