I realize I'm posting late! I had a couple orders come in yesterday afternoon, so I have decided to not just fill those those orders, but bake a bit more and open the store. If you are thinking to pop in, please do so! If you'd like to be sure what you're looking for will be there when you arrive, please feel free to call me to place an order so I'll have enough baked! 785-331-5284. Leave me a message and I'll get back to you! Any of you Stony Ridge Farm fans interested in another of my baked items that's not listed, call me! I might have the ingredients on hand and can add it.

Current requests for my homemade from scratch baked goods are:
Cheddar Beer Bread ~ 1/2 standard loaf $5.00
Raspberry Chocolate Chunk Muffins ~ standard size $3.50 each, 4 for $12.00
Chocolate Zucchini Bread with Vanilla Glaze ~ $5.00, small loaf pan

Of course, we'll have all our usual farm goods: Our 100% pasture raised, grass fed and grass finshed beef in cuts and gourmet ground. Cannon Farm Company's pasture raised pork and chicken. Our farm fresh eggs and homemade Jams and Moon Bee's honey!

I'll have small fresh asparagus and a little rhubarb available too.

It’s been brought to my attention that I neglected to give a description of my Churro Cupcakes in my post yesterday! Fist off, everything I bake is homemade from scratch. The Churro Cupcakes are a cinnamon cake with a salted caramel filling( yes, that’s from scratch too) topped with cinnamon buttercream. ‼️ Sorry, no mini churro toppers today. Checkers didn’t have them for purchase. 😕

Cinco de Mayo is in just a few days, so I thought I'd make my Cinnamon Churro Cupcakes! Tomorrow's cupcakes may or may not have the mini churros on top. That depends on the availability while shopping when I head to town in a bit! No worries, they will still be delicious either way. Strawberries are early this year and my Rhubarb is ready too, Strawberry Rhubarb Crumb Cakes are on the menu ~ a sweet biscuit-y base with strawberry rhubarb filling and topped with more sweet biscuit batter and finished with a crumble top. Bernie has asked for fresh baked focaccia, so Asiago Garlic Focaccia it is! I'll finish out the selections with my all time best seller ~ Chocolate Zucchini Bread with Vanilla Glaze. Incase you're new to our Farm, this is a super moist and tender, rich chocolate bread/cake with a vanilla glaze. It just melts in the mouth.

These baked goods will all be available on Saturday. In addition, with Cinco de Mayo being on Tuesday, if any of you would like treats for your festive celebrations, I'm offering a Monday pickup, by pre-order and appointment for larger orders. 1/2 dz or 1 dz cupcakes. I can also make my Strawberry Margarita bars (made with or without the tequila ~no worries the alcohol bakes out!) available in approx. 8x8 or 9x13 pans.

Also on Saturday, I'll have our pasture raised 100% grass fed and grass finished beef, Cannon Farm Co. pastured pork and chicken, our farm fresh eggs, homemade jams and Moon bee Honey.

I’ll have our pasture raised 100% grass fed and grass finished beef, Cannon Farm Company Chicken and Pork, our farm fresh eggs and homemade jams, and Moonbee Honey. I have rhubarb I can cut if anyone would like some.

I’ll post again tomorrow (likely afternoon or evening) with what the baked goods menu will be.

Hey ya’ll it Market day!
Cottin’s Hardware Farmers Market is this afternoon, Thursday from 4 to 6:30!

Bernie and I no longer set up to sell at Markets, but you can still find our pasture raised 💯% grass fed and grass finished ground beef at Cottin’s market.

Jacob Cannon is family and his Farm is Cannon Farm Company. Our gourmet ground is just one of the items you can find on his table. Jacob and family pasture raise pigs and chickens, and he sells cut meat from both! Fresh eggs too. He plans to have some produce as the season goes on as well.

Stop into Cottin’s Market tonight and introduce yourself to Jacob if you haven’t yet done that! There’s many great vendors with some fantastic goods to offer.

Valentine’s Day with Stony Ridge Farms! Baking is underway! Currently working on preorders for Friday pickup. My Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles came out adorable and called for a new photo shoot so you could see the filling too! So cute! Just pulled these Cherry filled “Love Notes” out of the oven. My kitchen smells so good……

I appreciate the requests and I aim to please! Here's my homemade, from scratch, baked goods menu for Valentines!

Black Forest Cupcakes ~ Super moist chocolate cake with a sweet black cherry filling, topped with vanilla buttercream. 4 for $10 or $3 each

Love Notes ~ Tender, flakey pastry "envelopes" with red cherry filling. Tastes like cherry pie! 3 for $8 or $3 each

Cookie Dough Truffle Bites ~ Semi-sweet chocolate covered edible chocolate chip cookie dough, drizzled with white chocolate, trimmed with a pink heart and gift wrapped. 6 for $6

Chocolate Zucchini Bread with Vanilla Glaze and White Chocolate Raspberry Swirl Bread at $4.50 each

Lots of Homemade Jams, Moon Bee Honey, Farm Fresh Eggs, Pasture Raised Beef, Pork and Chicken will all be available for purchase too. There are also a few small heart themed gift items.

I plan to have some of each of these menu items available at 10:00 Saturday morning for those that wish to stop in. Pre-orders are encouraged to guarantee goods will still be here when you arrive!
