A fun couple months of holiday cooking for family and friends has come to an end. Now time to prep for a fun year of Competition BBQ in 2021!

After the majority of our hobby KCBS and in-state Comps were cancelled due to covid this year, were planning to hit a few extra competitions to make up for it and with some new partners and sponsors 😁😛🤫🥩🍖🍗💪😤

Had some fun testing out some A9 Australian Wagyu Brisket! Probably the richest, most full-flavored brisket we have ever smoked. You absolutely cannot match the quality of A9 Wagyu - unreal! As most of you know Bryce and I have been doing Competition BBQ for the last 5 years all over Central Kansas. What started as a fun hobby quickly turned into something much bigger.

The pictures below are a little something something Bryce and I have been working on over the Competition BBQ off season. We purchased a patio trailer and upgraded our unit to a Deep South GC 36 and we have been adding modifications over the winter, spring and summer.

We are super excited to hit more competitions, provide more catering experiences! We will be getting licensing and inspection done in the next month or so. This has all taken a bit longer to get done but we're taking our time and doing it right. Were almost there!

Had a blast this weekend at the Kansas BBQ Shoot Out! What a fun KCBS opener with such phenomenal Reps operating the event. Big thanks to our friend Daniel for spending the weekend cooking with us! It was a horribly windy weekend and it did not help us hold smoker temperatures well at all. But as always, we had a great time!

It has begun! Very excited to start out the KCBS Competition BBQ Season with an opener that is close to home. Wish us luck as we head to Cheney, Kansas for the Kansas BBQ Shootout 2018 in less than two weeks!

Had a blast smoking some Christmas Hams and Briskets this weekend! This wraps up our year of Competition Smoking and Catering and man was it a busy one!
