Im considering running a test hatch in one of my unused cabinet incubators. I will only do this if there is potential interest in chicks.

We will hold one last feed pickup / open house (for 2026) on September 26th. This will be a Saturday only pickup (no Sunday) so plan accordingly! I will post details about a week beforehand!

After Friday (8/14) I am available to sell Elector PSP again! $15 for 9ml which makes 1 gallon of solution! Get some before the fair starts in a couple weeks and I get busy again! No egg withdrawl!

CHECK YOUR BIRDS! Mites and lice are crazy bad again this year.

*for mites- after spraying with this, follow up with permetherin powder in your coop!

Thank you everyone for the messages and for checking in. we are right on the outer edge of the evacuation zone and keeping close watch. our pets have been moved just incase so that we have room for chickens incase we do have to leave!

2-3 WHITE BRESSE BOYS Recessive white possible. *one may be a girl, it got red comb and waddles young but they haven't grown, so we aren't sure if its a girl or late developing boy

HEADS UP!
Only 4 more days to buy Elector PSP and eating eggs. After that they wont be available until the second half of August (possibly even later for the eating eggs as they are slowing down laying in the heat).

Im taking the summer off to spend time with my family and responses to messages will be very limited.
