Sometimes life gets busy and you put your head down. Go through the grind. Get caught in the daily rolling by and when you look up, things have changed ✨

Our new flock is growing beautifully and unique. A special wedding event, the flowers blooming, and Oak finally through a hard chapter he’s endured in his little life. Nova is off to middle school after her graduating elementary!

While I love calling attention to all the amazing things going on in life, just remember, we don’t bring light to the dark we’ve endured in this same time period. Not because we don’t want it to be known but more so to not dwell on those things. Behind these pictures were sleepless nights healing Oakley. Recovering from a missed miscarriage we had to navigate. Light being shed on an assault to one of our children (of course legal involvement in the works) and a heavy loss on the farm of birds after something got in.

Life will always be a roller coaster. You just have to learn to take the bumps and jars as they come and enjoy the rest of the ride as it is.

Cheers to whatever this summer holds!

Oak practicing his skills with daddy!

I love the confidence our tiny has in his physical capabilities. Because he’s right, he’s capable of a lot. And as he continues to push his boundaries. We will do our best to scratch that itch in the appropriate ways.
