In 2007 we started our farm with just a few head of steers to provide for our small family of 4. By 2009 we added a 2 new family member and a few more head of steers and began providing beef for a few close friends and family. By 2014 our farm had grown considerably to start offering farm fresh eggs, broiler chickens, lamb and beef to family, friends and friends of friends looking to eat fresh and
local grown meat and poultry. Our goal is to stay small enough that our family of 6 can continue to manage everything hands on yet provide as many people as possible with hormone and antibiotic free food that just makes your mouth water thinking about it! We have just introduced a few hogs to our farm in order to be self sustainable when it comes to meat in our home and yours. We feed our animals home ground feed so we know exactly what they are being fed. They have plenty of room to live and move around in. No tiny pins or cages found here! As of right now we have a group page to manage our egg delivery schedule and ordering and as for meat's we sell them based on live or hanging weight and transport them to the butcher for you at no cost (when they are ready and available). You then instruct the butcher on how you would like your meats processed and pay them directly for the processing. In addition to the animal production in the summer we also put up small square bales of grass hay that we sell to area livestock and horse owners.
