Fresh Morel season is a fleeting season, they come in with a silent entrance and fade away as we're all glancing into the future to summer shenanigans.

They are packed with antioxidants, minerals, fiber, and immune-supporting nutrients. Word on the street is, they may help support gut health, reduce inflammation, and provide a natural source of vitamin D and iron.

They are best gathered slowly. Best cooked over a fire. Best eaten with dirty hands and good company.

Camping season has come again on the farm.

The orchard is waking green beneath the long spring light, and each evening new adventurers are arriving. Some with their own small homes in tow, some seeking the quiet shelter we have prepared for them.

They come for a slower night.

For the sound of wind moving through the trees, for the dark sky untroubled by town lights, for the old peace that still lives in places where fruit grows from good earth.

There is room on the farm for many ways of staying awhile.

Bring your own set-up, or rest in one of ours,
and let the orchard provide solitude while you sleep.

There are thousands of reasons people visit our little piece of earth throughout the growing season.

Sometimes you’re hungry in the moment..or planning for the long winter ahead.

Sometimes you’re here for an adventure with friends or family, a first date, a school tour, or a day spent playing hooky from work.

Sometimes you’re just looking for a quiet place to wander, to slow down, to contemplate life’s simple cycles, or to create memories that last a lifetime with loved ones.

And sometimes… you’re just here to visit Bella, Penelope, or farmer Nick or Caitlin.

Whatever has brought you to our farm—> this season or anytime since 1970, we want to say THANK YOU!

Life is incredibly short, and we’re humbly grateful that our paths have crossed.

Cheers to a kickass 2025 and to a bountiful 2026!
