CLOSED FOR THE SEASON

06/10/2026

My husband sent me this the day before he died.
Such a beautiful expression of love. I am devastated.
Much to do and painful decisions to be made.
Guard your loved ones.

My wonderful husband of almost 20 yrs passed away yesterday from what appeared to be a very quick and devastating flu.
Please pray for our family as we try to navigate how to move forward without my wonderful husband.

Couple things...
You can plant out in your garden when temps go above 50 degrees at night. Soon, we can only hope.
Cover them at night until they acclimate to the outdoors.
We have the following veggi plant starts for just $4.00ea:
Cantelope, Watermelon, English Cucumber, Muncher Cucumber, Delicata Squash, Zucchini, Straightneck, variety of Peppers, a few Herbs, our "becoming famous" Honey, free-range and organically fed Hen Eggs.
Oh, and we have for sale in our hoophouse variety of Lettuces and purple and green Bok Choy $3.00ea.
Happy to help answer any gardening questions, too.

TEMPS IN THE 30's again at end of this week!
This growing season is predicted to be another roller coaster weather with drought for weeks again.
Don't plant out your vegs or other plants until the evening temps get into the 50's.
Most veggie starts do not do well with temps below 50.
If you've already done some planting of Tomatoes and others outdoors, do cover them just before sundown and uncover them first thing after the sun comes out in the morning; otherwise, they can burn up quickly.
You can cover plants using Remay (floating row cover) or a fragrance-free light colored kitchen garbage bags.
Happy to answer gardening Q's for those interested.
