Little Salmon River Homestead Our Little Salmon River Homestead between Riggins and New Meadows has a variety of products.

Fresh farm eggs, chicken and rabbit meat along with a variety of freeze dried herbs. Our chickens are raised free ranging, rabbits are fed from local feed farms.

Our first Oberhasli babies were born, this has been our goal is to have our own herd of milking goats of this breed. We bought “Wild Thing” from a dairy that said she was too wild. We’ve been taming her and now from her, bred by our buck Rowdy we have a new boy and girl. She did so good and has been a great mother. Kids have been real chill and calm. Another week and she will be on the stand getting milked for the first time.
