10% of all sales at our farmers markets the next two weekends will be donated to the Imagination Library, so come on out and grab a jar of honey!

We will be at the Chapel Hill Farmers Market and Holly Springs Farmers Market this weekend, the 29th. Next weekend, the 5th, we be at Chapel Hill, South Durham Farmers' Market, and Holly Springs.

Was able to stop by the Alamance County Rural Preservation subcommittee meeting straight after work. Wouldn’t have been my first choice of vehicle to drive there, but in our agricultural community it’s still fairly normal.

Sorting and treating frames all week after reductions. These boxes will get put up in the shop until their return to the field in March down in Georgia… and the cycle will continue for our eleventh bee season.

Rarely do we make honey in late July or early August, but sometimes a hive or two finds a way to make a crop.

The summer doldrums are in full swing, which around here means feeding bees daily. It’s monotonous but oddly satisfying work, and the bees are looking fantastic after the drought all things considered.
