Hard to believe I made this beer.

I prepared it. I brewed it. I followed it along its journey. Then I packaged it.

And tonight I actually brought one home.

That probably doesn’t sound like a big deal, but for me it is.

Everything we brew is on an incredibly small scale. There are only so many gallons of every beer I make, and once they’re gone, they’re gone. So believe it or not, I rarely bring our beer home. I actually feel a little guilty when I do.

But tonight I’m sitting on my deck, drinking a Sworn beer out of a crowler, away from the brewery, and it hit me how fu***ng cool this actually is.

I get to drink something I made, at home.

And for the first time in a while, I’m experiencing this beer the same way some of you do when you take one home.

I think sometimes I’m so buried in brewing it, kegging it, releasing it and moving on to the next one that I forget to actually experience what’s been created.

Tonight I did.

And this feels pretty damn special.

After two incredible weekends, we’re taking today to reset.

There are far too many people to name individually, but to everyone who worked alongside us, helped behind the scenes, showed up, grabbed a beer, ate some food, bought some merch, shared a post, brought a friend, or simply continues to support what we’re building here — thank you.

These last two weekends were something special.

We took this Chocolate, Strawberry, Blackberry, Blueberry Sour and layered it with peanut butter for a rich, jam-meets-peanut-butter twist.
