Yesterday was our yearly 4-H Dairy Club picnic!

Fun Facts:
🍀 Richard Beatty & Emily Emig Beatty are club leaders along with Jason Nailor and Galen Smith
🍀 Richard and Jason were both members of this very 4-H club just a few years ago 😉
🍀 Galen has been a club leader for 61 years!
🍀 There are 10 members in our club.
🍀 Our members show every breed except for Red and Whites (&Lane is trying to change that)

Richard Beatty pointed it out yesterday that we may be doing something right in our show philosophy. All 3 of the kids that we have taken to Show Like A Pro Dairy Workshop have won a Sportsmanship award!

Yesterday the team attended Before the Banner Dairy Workshop.C**ten Clayberger attended the clinic and did well! He was first place senior in the fit out contest! 🥇 He has put the work in and is soaking up all the clipping tips from Ash. Glimmer on the other hand did not cooperate in showmanship for him unfortunately.

We provided heifers for kids to work with who couldn’t bring their own. Everyone did a great job with our borrowed heifers and we think the future is bright. 🐄
