To those who know me (Alecia), knows this place was more than just a “job”. It was a second home. The animals are like my children, spoiled and loved beyond words. Today, Double D was sold to new ownership. There will be many exciting changes being made here. This will probably be my last post on this page but will keep the page open.
I want to thank Don and Lynda for everything they have provided for these animals.. allowing me to give them the top notch care these last 5 years. If an animal needed something even if it was a crazy amount of money to save a life.. they allowed me to do so. Animals ALWAYS come first and it made it so much more rewarding to work for them. Don even had me take chickens to the dover animal hospital a couple times🤣❤️ the faces on their face while I walked through with chickens I’ll never forget haha. So many memories made here.. and although they were rescues.. they truly rescued me as well💕
