Just your friendly neighborhood farm that has adapted to change. Once a prosperous dairy farm, Basehore Farm has evolved and begun to practice new avenues of farming. When the cows were sold in 1998 dairy farming was becoming difficult. Seeing an opportunity a few years down the road, we began growing produce and selling it out of our market. Each year we would continue to gain customers and have

the ability to expand our market. We now have a greenhouse and sell christmas trees in the winter season. We open in the spring with spring produce and flowers, as we transition to summer our produce changes. As we near halloween we get busy with pumpkins and all the items that pertain to fall. We are then typically closed January, February and March. We hope to see you on our farm soon!

We have 39 more slots open for our red barn boxes for this next week. Pickup day is Thursday June 11th. Highlighted items this week will be local green beans and broccoli as well as some tomatoes. Other items will be in the box!! Online ordering at basehorefarm.com

All remaining veggie plants are just $1!!! They need to get planted into bigger pots or the ground so stop and get some veggies while saving some money!! Doesn’t matter if it’s a pack of veggies or individual pots it’s $1!!

We LOADED up on Lancaster grown strawberries yesterday. They are picture perfect and red to the core. 🍓🍓🍓🍓

We got a few other local items in our store this week.
- local green beans
- local broccoli
- local garlic scapes
- local cucumbers
- local spinach and lettuce

We have an amazing selection of fresh cut bouquets! Prices range from $15-$20 💐

Also just in this morning - Georgia grown, Docia Farms branded cantaloupe. Had one cut in half before the truck left. All 4 of us here today split that one and it was amazing, so stop in this weekend for the first taste of a sweet cantaloupe. 🍈 🍈 🍈 🍈

Summer is just starting but we are thinking about the next season. We are known for our fall mums and those little itty bitty mum plants showed up yesterday! We will be getting them into pots throughout the next week!

We have local strawberries and tomatoes in the store now!!! We will most likely run out of berries this weekend so don’t snooze… the early bird gets the worm.

These tomatoes are grown right here in PA down in Lancaster County. Beautiful color, size & most importantly taste!

Enjoy some of the pictures of us all cleaned up from Abby’s wedding.. while we had some wet weather we all had a great time. This old barn really looks good with chairs and cameras…. who knows maybe it won’t be the last wedding here.

⚠️We will be closing early on Saturday May 23rd. Our store will be closing at 2pm! My cousin Abby is getting married under the pavilion!! We can’t wait watch Abby and Jason’s big day. It’s going to be a fun test run!

We have 20 red barn box slots left for our weekly produce box. Ordering is online .com - pickup day is Thursday!

As we head into Mother’s Day weekend remember to support local markets and not big box stores.

We have been in this community for a long time and have continued to keep the foot on the gas pedal to make the property, farm, and market better for us all.

Stable Hollow Construction has had huge role in making all the renovations and dreams happen. All the crews have had top notch craftsmanship and a high level of professionalism is carried throughout all aspects of the company.
