What a soundtrack 🤣 Just a dork in her butcher shop. Don’t ask why I only had on one glove 🤷🏻‍♀️ everything I worked on was for my family. Except the Cooper cheese. That’s just for me 😆

Plenty of work goes on even when we aren’t cutting those beautiful steaks! Had to have proof since Steven thinks I do nothing all day when he goes to “work” 😉

The boys joined Dad during a hog slaughter this week. They were excited to help and learn. We hope this attitude continues on our journey here at the butcher shop.

Don’t be afraid to invite young minds to see and learn about this part of the process. Some things they might do:
1. Argue over who sprays the hose and who operates the hoist.
2. Compete over who has the messiest hands (which delegates back scratching to Mom).
3. Fight over which organs to hold.
4. Ask when they can help again.

Today we sinned. These beautiful roasts and steaks were ground into burger. Per customer request of course. Steven kept them on the table as long as he could. I think he cried 🤣

Sourced from reputable farms and handled with care each step of the process. All beef are dry aged for a minimum of 10 days -a crucial step to achieve a tender and flavorful end product that you will not find in almost all grocery stores and many restaurants as well.

A lot of our customers mention they notice quite the difference in quality compared to steaks and even burger from the grocery store.

Our favorite part of turkey on Thanksgiving is the stuffing inside the bird. So we thought, I bet the turkey would be more desirable if we smoked it. Can’t imagine the stuffing being bad.

It’s all delicious now!
