Studley Farms would like to thank our current and prospective customers for their continued support.
The last two weeks have been chaotic dealing with the fallout from the robbery that occurred at Paul & Kim's house on OLD RIDGE RD, HANOVER, VA.
We've successfully initiated the steps necessary to replace the Birth Certificates, SSN Cards, and are working towards passports. Many phonecalls, emails, and appointments to move this forward x 4.
We've continued to work our day jobs, keep the farm gears running, support 4 Farmers Markets, make Wholesale deliveries, and drop-off/ pick-up meats from the processors.
The announcement by President Trump last week that the USA will be importing 300,000 metric tons of ground beef, has encouraged many new customers to ask questions about the supply chain and where their meat comes from.
Over the last 48 hours, we have received messages/ phonecalls/ emails/ texts from over 500 PEOPLE.
Paul's day took a turn this afternoon - when his truck was t-boned by an inpatient driver, who illegally cut across the double yellow lines as Paul made a turn into his driveway. Had Paul been on the tractor, he would be in the ravine. No injuries - but another opportunity for our family to be grateful for what we have...and down a truck until door and forequarter panel can be repaired.
We are working as diligently as we can to respond to as many inquiries as quickly as possible.
We recognize that many customers have concerns about the safety and quality of the commercial supply chain...and we appreciate that these same people choose to converse with our family about our values, practices and product offerings.
We know many customers have questions - and it is our intent to be as transparent as possible. We apologize for any delays in communication, and if we miss an email/ phonecall/ text, we ask that if you don't receive a response within 48 hours, that you contact us again.
We have two markets this weekend:
Ashland VA Farmers Market 9AM - Noon
Yorktown Market Days 8AM - Noon
Really hoping that some semblance of normality comes soon - and we can get back to posting about the meats.
