Can you feel the Fall in the air this morning? We’ve started our slow transition to Autumn at Pole Green Produce!

Fall flags are up and looking great. A few varieties of Virginia apples have arrived on scene - Summerset and Gala. We are fully stocked on McCutcheon’s apple butter, jams, and preserves.

Check out some Fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving yard signs as well - ranging from pumpkins to skeletons. (There are a few Christmas options too if you’re not opposed to getting started early.)

Don’t worry - Summer fruits and veggies are still available including Hanover tomatoes, Virginia peaches, squash, zucchini, cucumbers, green peppers, and more.

Pole Green Produce is looking especially good this morning!

We have our staples: Hanover tomatoes, cucumbers, yellow squash, zucchini, green peppers, and several varieties of eggplant.

New this week:
Local green beans, local sweet candy onions, local red potatoes, Virginia yellow nectarines, Virginia white nectarines, Virginia Sweet Maia apples, Virginia Rambo apples, local red plums, and more!

Don’t miss out on the beautiful super-sweet local white and bicolor corn!

Also, we have extra-large seeded and seedless Hanover watermelons. The rain has done them well! Come grab one today!

“To-may-to” or “to-mah-to” ?

It doesn’t matter what you call them, just know Hanover tomatoes are in at Pole Green Produce! The first few of the summer were picked just for y’all! Come grab some while supplies last.

Fresh blackberries are also in. We still have tons of Hanover veggies including beets, cabbage, squash, zucchini, broccoli, and salad greens.

Fresh shelled butter beans are in as well!

Fresh seafood is also available - pints of oysters, jumbo shrimp, dry-packed scallops, and lump and jumbo lump crabmeat.

Need a sweet treat? Our ice cream shack is open, 10:30am - 6:00pm. In addition to serving Homestead Creamery ice cream, we also have hot Drumheller’s apple c***r, strawberry, and blueberry donuts to top your ice cream! The donuts are also available by the half-dozen.

If April showers bring May flowers, then May showers bring local vegetables.

Don’t let the rain keep you away! We finally have Hanover squash, zucchini, beets, turnips, spring onions, cabbage, lettuce, and broccoli. Hanover greens are still coming in too, and they look perfect for a rainy day meal.

You can find everything you need for your Memorial Day cookouts - fresh super sweet white and bicolor corn, Florida tomatoes, cantaloupes, seeded and seedless watermelons, and South Carolina peaches.
