Today We Remember D-Day 🇺🇸
On June 6, 1944, more than 156,000 Allied troops landed on the beaches of Normandy in one of the most significant military operations in history.
Many of those who stepped onto those beaches were young men who knew the risks but chose courage over fear. Their sacrifice helped change the course of World War II and defended the freedoms that millions enjoy today.
As the generations who lived through these events become fewer, it becomes even more important to remember why D-Day matters. It is a reminder that freedom is not guaranteed, that ordinary people can accomplish extraordinary things, and that the cost of liberty has often been paid by those willing to serve something greater than themselves.
Today, we honor the bravery, sacrifice, and legacy of all who participated in D-Day and throughout World War II.
Remember their courage. Honor their sacrifice. Preserve their legacy.
