Happy Birthday to the guy who started it all.

A lot of time, work, and care has gone into this place over the years.

The Refuge Ranch means a lot to our family and to everyone who’s spent time here.

Happy Birthday dad!

From a summer afternoon at the ranch last year.
Kids fishing, people sitting by the water, and everyone just enjoying being outside.

Thankful for days like this and looking forward to them again soon. Happy Sunday

Early season at the ranch usually means breaking out the shotguns for a little s***t shooting. It’s a good way to slow down, spend time together, and enjoy an afternoon at the range. Some of the best memories here happen between hunts.

Some deer just carry themselves different.

Another great hunt in the books — the laughs, the stories, and the time in the woods always make it one to remember. 🦌

Great weekend at the ranch with Joe, John, and Weaver! Plenty of laughs, good food, and time in the woods — doesn’t get much better than that. The weather was perfect, the stories around the table were even better, and weekends like this make all the work worth it. 🦌

This past weekend at The Refuge Ranch was one to remember! 🦌 Denis joined us for the hunt while his wife Ann enjoyed some peaceful time at the Ranch reading her books. Denis harvested a beautiful, heavy-antlered buck with great mass and character — the kind of deer every hunter dreams about.

However, the hunt was only part of it. We shared delicious meals, swapped stories around the table, and built a friendship that made the whole weekend even more special.

Great deer, great food, and even greater company — the kind of memories that last a lifetime here at The Refuge Ranch.

A Hunting Paradise

Hunting brought the Wyman family to this amazing acreage in Mecosta County. After visiting the site with his family in 2011, Paul decided to create a private hunting ranch where family and friends could experience hunting as Paul did with those closest to him.

The Refuge Ranch covers 420 acres of private hunting land 70 miles north-east of Grand Rapids that will take your breath away.

The Refuge Ranch is a true family affair. Caleb Wyman, Paul’s son, serves as ranch manager, supervising a daily staff responsible for land and animal management. Caleb’s brother, Elijah, helps in the summer months.
