Farm life isn’t for the faint of heart.
There are days filled with beauty, and there are days filled with heartbreak. Animals get sick, the weather doesn’t cooperate, things break, and sometimes no matter how hard you work, it doesn’t go the way you hoped.

Watching your kids learn these lessons can be even more heart-wrenching - especially when they are the ones that have poured their hearts and souls into an animal. Life can be so cruel….

But farm life also teaches resilience. You don’t get the option to quit—you get up, you keep going, because the animals depend on you, the land depends on you, and in many ways, your soul depends on it too.

It’s hard, it’s messy, it’s exhausting. But it’s also purposeful, grounding, and full of a kind of love and grit you can’t find anywhere else.
