Happy June —
and Happy PRIDE Month!
June is packed with great events, community partnerships, music, laughter, and of course, great beer.
Our annual PRIDE Trivia Night takes place on June 25 and is always a fantastic evening. Looking ahead, Medford will host its First Annual PRIDE Celebration on July 15. Yes, I know it’s technically July, but I’m an ally all year long, so it still counts! We’re also excited to welcome What’s the Buzz for an amazing Drag Show at the brewery on June 28.
This weekend brings our First Friday Karaoke. I can’t believe it’s already June! Erika has a prior commitment, so I’ve convinced TJ to join me behind the microphone. If it’s anything like last month’s karaoke or our Music Bingo nights, expect lots of singing, laughter, and great music. We kick things off at 7:00 PM — don’t miss it!
On Sunday, June 14, celebrate Flag Day and enjoy Medford’s annual Art, Wine & Music Festival on Main Street. The festival runs from Noon to 6:00 PM, though the street will close earlier to allow vendors to set up. We’ll be here to keep you supplied with beer and hard seltzer while supporting this wonderful event that benefits the Medford Art Center.
We’re especially excited to announce a new partnership with the Philly Folk Song Society/Musical Artists Cooperative. Beginning June 26, we’ll host a monthly Fourth Friday performance series. This month we will be featuring Bob Andrews, Larry Ragone, and Tom Reiter. We’re looking forward to making this a regular musical tradition at the brewery.
Another new community partnership is getting underway as well. Marr CPR will begin offering First Aid and CPR certification classes at the brewery this month. Check out their website for class information and scheduling. We’ll have coffee, tea, and soft drinks available for purchase during classes.
