𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗢𝗪 for Bear Creek Stewardship Day! Join us and the Bear Creek Stewards for a clean-up on Saturday, September 19th. Volunteers will be removing litter along the Bear Creek Greenway from 9am-12pm. There are nine locations to choose from along the greenway in Central Point, Medford, Phoenix, Talent, and Ashland. MFC staff will be hosting the Alba Drive location in Medford and would love to have your help!

Help create Positive Change for Southern Oregon Forest Restoration Collaborative (SOFRC) this September! SOFRC leads efforts to restore forest health and resilience while engaging community members in natural resources education and workforce development to reduce wildfire risks, promote sustainable practices, and enhance regional biodiversity.

Positive Change funds will be used to support SOFRC's environmental education program, specifically providing funding for staff capacity and resources for hands-on learning experiences about forest ecosystems, wildfire resilience, and sustainable management practices. This funding will expand opportunities for youth and community members to engage with critical environmental issues and build resilience for future generations.

Frank presented the big check to Barbara from Community Works in the amount of $2,252.83 for July's Positive Change donation. Thank you to our shoppers for your generous contributions! Funds will be used to meet the basic needs of the residents of the Dunn House Shelter, the only emergency shelter in Jackson County for those fleeing domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking. Basic needs include food, clothing, diapers, ID’s, hygiene items, and other essential items.
