(About the parents: Hens were hatched last year from hatching eggs purchased from reputable farm. Rooster was purchased last year from Meyer Hatchery. Hatch rate for this first batch was 78%. All eggs were candled at various stages and all were fertile.)

Pics never show up great… but things are happening six days in. This was more of a test run for my Lavender Orpington eggs… I was happy to see that all are progressing, which means Brandon is doing rooster things with all the ladies.
