We raise heritage breed livestock and sell a variety of handcrafted, homemade goods including goat milk soap, teas, seasonings, canned goods, and more! We're a small farm in the heart of Virginia, focusing primarily on heritage breeds, raising them and sharing our passion for them with others. We’ve been in the kitchen all morning, chopping, stirring, simmering, and filling jars with a brand‑new batch of our farm‑fresh salsa. The whole place smells like tomatoes, peppers, onions, and summer itself.

This batch is sealed, cooled, and ready to head out with us to the Powhatan Farmers Market tomorrow. If you’ve been waiting for a fresh restock, this is your moment — come grab a jar (or two) while it’s hot off the canner.

We can’t wait to see everyone and share the flavors we’ve been working on all day.

We LOVE hosting a ☔️ or ☀️ farmers market outside in the beautiful park - AND unpredictable summer weather sure keeps us on our toes!

It’s going to be a beautiful day tomorrow with a lovely high near 80 🌤️

Join us for live music, fresh food, and our lineup of local small businesses who bring their best every week! We love seeing kids playing games, dogs greeting each other, and folks gathered at the picnic tables enjoying the community atmosphere. Some folks bring a chair! (Highly recommend for a coveted shady spot right in front of our musician.)

Caught this little ray of sunshine visiting the farm today — a Yellow‑throated Warbler!

They’re tiny, bold, and full of personality. That bright yellow throat is impossible to miss. And they have the most beautiful, cheerful song.

Farm life comes with its challenges (especially during the summer heat and storms), but moments like this are just magical. 💛✨

There are always downsides to vending outdoors, and today, it was the flies. The flies showed up to our seasoning displays like they were invited.

I hit the display with a mist of our Insect Repellent…
and suddenly every fly had “somewhere else to be.” 😂
