Introducing Bullseye 🐽 Bullseye was dropped off here at Sunsets and Snouts by Eastern Snouts transporters on August 5th. This guy was living on a run down concrete porch under a rusty box spring in about a foot of his own p**p. Bullseye was given alcohol to drink, abused, his left tusk was ripped out, and “his people” decided to quit feeding him. A neighbor decided to do the right thing and call Eastern Snouts and feed him temporarily. Bullseye is a senior pig, approx 11 years old.
He was so weak and sickly looking when he arrived and went right to bed in the barn and slept comfortably for two days straight.
Well in just four weeks he has woken up, his skin has improved, he started to walk more, groaning less, and is beginning to trust humans again.
His favorite past time is napping in hay in the barn. Watching him begin to heal has been a wonderful experience.
Bullseye is so sweet and he keeps taking more and more steps toward the sunshine ❤️ our goal is for him to walk out of the barn into the pasture on the green grass and sunshine with his other pig friends. Small steps though, lots of love, and patience.
