PRIMETIME ❤️
Some moments remind me that Urban Prime was never built with just bricks, concrete, and steel. It was built through relationships, friendships, faith, and the incredible people God placed in my life along the way.
When I began building Urban Prime in 2022, I spent almost every day at the construction site, watching this dream come together literally brick by brick. During those early days, before there was a restaurant, before there were guests filling the patio, and when we barely had a foundation, I met Jim.
One early morning during his regular run, Jim stopped by, introduced himself, and simply wanted to know what we were building. From that very first hello, I knew a special friendship was beginning.
After that, he kept coming back. Sometimes alone, sometimes bringing fellow runners and friends to see the progress. He watched Urban Prime grow from a construction site into what we proudly call Prime Home.
And when the doors finally opened, Jim continued showing up.
Week after week. Holiday after holiday. Birthdays, celebrations, milestones and countless memories. He became much more than a guest—he became part of the fabric of Urban Prime and one of our most outspoken supporters and advocates.
Last night, the story came full circle.
We had the incredible privilege of celebrating one of the biggest milestones of Jim’s life—his engagement to Natalie. ❤️
Looking at this beautiful group gathered together on the Urban Prime Sunset Patio, holding their engagement cake and smiling, I couldn’t help but think back to that empty construction site and that first morning conversation.
This is what PRIMETIME means to me.
It isn’t only about food or a restaurant. It’s about people. It’s about relationships that begin unexpectedly and grow into friendships and family.
Jim & Natalie, congratulations on your engagement. May God bless your journey together with a lifetime of love, laughter, health, friendship, and beautiful memories.
