🐾 About last Friday night.

October First Friday brought the Mutt Strut back to Eau Gallie Square and despite the Florida heat, you showed UP. 🥵🐶

The creative costumes.
The big personalities.
The crowd cheers.
The happy dogs.
The people who came out just to be part of it.

It takes a community to build a community and nights like this are why we keep showing up 💜

🐾The dogs are taking over EGAD!

Join us in Eau Gallie Square for our Annual Mutt Strut, where your pup gets their moment to shine. 🐶✨

Here’s what you need to know:
🐕 Registration: 5:30–6:45 PM
🎉 Parade begins: 7 PM
Enter your pup in one of four categories:
🏆 Most Creative
🐾 Most Like Human
❤️ Best Human + Dog Duo
⭐ Judges’ Choice
The winners from each category will then compete for Best in Show! 👑🐶

🐾 Eau Gallie Square is going to be paws-itively packed this October First Friday!

We’re bringing the Annual Mutt Strut back to the Square with the fun starting well before the pups hit the parade route.

🎶 5:30 PM : First Friday kicks off!
Music, local pop-ups, parade sign-ups, pup-friendly activities + more will be happening throughout the Square. Come early, grab a drink, shop the pop-ups and get settled in before the Mutt Strut begins!

🐶 7 PM — MUTT STRUT
Dress up your pup and get ready for the Costume Parade + Contest! Strut through the Square, show off your best look, and compete for prizes. 🏆

✨ One of EGAD’s newest additions, Wood & Grace Artisan Jewelers, opened its doors this summer with something pretty special behind them.

So we had to wander in to get the scoop on the story behind these doors.

Family-owned and rooted in generations of jewelry experience, Wood & Grace brings together a collection that includes rare gems, heirloom pieces and stones sourced from mines that are no longer open (some of which haven’t been in circulation for nearly 20 years!)

Their focus goes beyond beautiful jewelry. They specialize in quality, heirloom redesign, and creating pieces meant to be treasured for generations, but while building a brand that feels connected to the community they now call home.

🎃Get ready for a hauntingly good time in the District!

Halloween officially enters the District on October 9th with the Dark Garden, a haunted attraction in partnership with 👻 Runs through Oct 30.

If your fright tolerance is low, don’t fear! There will be a “Not So” Dark Garden on Oct 9 at 5:30-6:30 - perfect for families to enjoy!
