🐾 We’ve Been Working Hard Behind the Scenes! 🐾

In December 2024, Platt’s Patch officially became a rescue & sanctuary, and while we’ve only been on this journey for a little over a year, it feels like our to-do list grows just as fast as our feed bill! 😂

Between caring for our rescue animals, maintaining the property, building enclosures, planning for our events, and making sure every animal receives the best care possible, there truly never seems to be enough hours in the day.

One project we’ve been working hard on is updating and improving our website. We hope it will make it easier for everyone to learn about our mission, meet our animals, support our rescue efforts, stay updated on events, and find ways to get involved.

We would love for you to take a few minutes to check it out and let us know what you think! Your feedback means so much to us as we continue growing and improving.

Our goal is to offer more events, more educational opportunities, and more chances for the community to visit and connect with the animals. Getting there takes time, hard work, and support from amazing people like you, but we’re slowly making progress one step at a time.

Big news for our family! ❤️
As many of you know, Ralph recently wrapped up an incredible 25-year career with CW Theaters. After a lot of thought, prayer, and planning, we've decided to go all in. Making this added adventure full-time!

With the opening of our second trailer, All I Need Sips & Cheese, we're now officially booking weekday lunch & dinner stops, corporate events, business parks, warehouses, schools, hospitals, office complexes, and employee appreciation events throughout Brevard County and beyond.

We're looking to fill our weekly schedule and would love your help. If you work somewhere that brings in food trucks, know someone who manages a business, or have a connection to a location that might be interested, please tag them below or send us a message.

🌽🎃 The COUNTDOWN to the 2026 Platt’s Patch Fall Festival has officially begun! 🎃🌽

We are SO excited to kick off preparations for this year’s festival and start bringing all of our ideas to life! There is a lot of work that happens behind the scenes before October arrives, and we’re finally getting started on…

🌽 The Corn Maze! 🌽

Over the past few days, we’ve been hard at work preparing the field. We’ve tilled the ground, deep-ripped the soil, and re-leveled the area to improve drainage and give our corn the best possible growing conditions. Every year we learn something new, and we’re always working to make the experience even better for our guests!

It’s hard to believe that this field will soon be filled with corn, laughter, family memories, and thousands of visitors enjoying all the fun that The Platt’s Patch has to offer. 🧡

We still have months of planning, building, planting, and preparing ahead of us, but seeing the first steps come together always makes everything feel real!

🧡 Welcome Our Newest Rescue to The Platt’s Patch Rescue & Sanctuary! 🧡

Meet Chich! 🐾

Chich recently needed to be rehomed, but he comes from a very loving family who wanted to make sure he found the perfect forever home. We are so thankful they trusted us to help provide that next chapter for him. He even has his special blankie🥹

This sweet boy is 6 years old and has already stolen our hearts! 🥰 He is settling in wonderfully and now has plenty of new friends to play with and enjoy life alongside here at the sanctuary. Him and SamSam will be mud buddies 🥰

While it’s never easy for a family to make the decision to rehome a beloved animal, sometimes life circumstances change, and choosing a safe, loving home is one of the greatest acts of love. ❤️

We are honored to give Chich a forever home where he will be loved, cared for, and spoiled every day.

Just us setting up at Sam’s Club in Melbourne off 192 and hoping our amazing community comes out to support local 💛 10 to 2

We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to add several new features for this year, but this one is mainly for the kiddos, and we cannot wait to see everyone’s reactions! 🤭✨

We were proud to help the Sea Turtle Preservation Society with work out on the beach supporting local sea turtle conservation efforts.

Not every day our equipment gets a beach day, but we’re always happy to lend a hand when it comes to supporting our local community and coastline. 🌾☀️

Definitely a job site we won’t complain about.
