It's important to pay attention to our constantly changing weather. We can't deny that Florida is capable of some strange and unusual temperatures. With that being said, these low temperatures that are rolling in this weekend will have very little chance of freezing you pipes on your water systems. There's one specific component to keep your eyes on. There's a small 1/4 inch line that is on your pump. It connects your pump to your electric pressure switch. They are rarely a problem, but have been known to freeze enough to get clogged. That will not allow your pump to turn on and off. If you notice your pump is continuing to run for too long, or will not turn on at all. Please turn off the power to it, or un plug it. That's your first place to look for an issue. Believe me when I say I'd love to be flooded with numerous service calls. We don't feel right charging for that service. So we're here to educate you here, and take care of your needs for the future.
