Hi, I’m Josefina.

I’m the owner of Josefina’s Empanadas, where I handcraft Dominican-inspired empanadas in both savory and sweet flavors, made with the hope of bringing people together one bite at a time.

What started as a simple side hustle has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined. It has become a passion project, a creative outlet, and a way for me to connect with the community I love.

You can find Josefina’s Empanadas at pop-ups, community events, retail partners, business gatherings, and private catering events. Whether it’s a business luncheon, a client appreciation gift, a family celebration, a school event, or a local business looking to create a memorable experience for its customers, my goal is always the same:

To create little pockets of love that bring people together.

Growing up, empanadas were something I looked forward to at family gatherings. They represented laughter, connection, and the joy of sharing a meal with the people you care about. Today, I have the privilege of sharing that tradition with others.

I believe food has a way of turning strangers into friends, helping businesses connect with their communities, and making special moments even more memorable.

Hey everyone, does anyone know of a place that will rent out a small cute food trailer? I’m needing one for an event at the end of June and wanted to know where I can obtain one. It would be for my empanadas so all I would need would be
-fryer
-warmer
-fridge
-sink

My 1st wedding celebration!!! I had the honor to kick off Holli Couch | Brevard County Real Estate Agent Welcome Party/rehearsal dinner for her family and friends! It was a Mexican fiesta theme! We featured the bride and grooms favorite flavors and made sure they were dressed and ready to walk down the aisle. Thank you to the bride and groom for choosing Josefina’s Empanadas! This evening, I had the most delightful pleasure of attending an exquisite charcuterie workshop, graciously led by the ever-talented . Her artistry is nothing short of extraordinary—each arrangement more enchanting than the last.

To my own astonishment, I, too, fashioned a board most pleasing to both eye and palate. One might even say… a triumph worthy of admiration.

And now, with my dance card in hand and spirits quite elevated, I daresay I am ever more prepared to secure a most suitable match—one who shall fully appreciate all that I bring to the table.

After all, what is courtship without a touch of charm… and a well-curated spread?
