🦴 Thor and I have called an emergency homestead shutdown—apparently, the rain is too dramatic and the snuggles are too important!

🗓️ Today’s homestead forecast: 100% chance of procrastination, extra snuggles, and two completely unmotivated supervisors. Some chores may be neglected, but Thor’s cuddle schedule is fully booked!

Last day garden haul did not disappoint. So grateful and it just as equally gratifying. Plentiful it was. Fed us and our animals, family, friends and strangers. In addition to a stocked freezer we can enjoy all winter long❤️

🚨🐮 BREAKING NEWS FROM THE HOMESTEAD: MIDNIGHT IS EXPECTING—AND MELVIN IS ALREADY ON BABY WATCH!

Our micro-miniature Midnight has been keeping a very exciting secret… there’s a baby moo on the way! 🤭❤️ She’s expecting and bagging up nicely, and we couldn’t be more excited! 🐄💕

And the proud daddy-to-be? Melvin! 😂❤️

Midnight is bagging up nicely and getting ready for her first little blessing, while Melvin has officially entered his PROTECTIVE HUSBAND ERA! 🤣 He’s keeping one eye on Midnight and the other on the entire homestead, like he’s personally in charge of pregnancy patrol! 🕵️‍♂️🐮

One thing is certain… love is in the air, tiny hooves are in our future, and we cannot wait to meet this little bundle of moo-joy!

My plan is to put the homestead on the market in near future.
Ideally I would like to include all of the farm animals along with equipment. The animals have been together and are quite fond of one another. Curious if anyone the had same intentions and if so did it work out? Thank you in advance. I appreciate you all ❤️
