At Austin’s Floral, owner Carrie and her family have made it their mission to help our community share those moments, one beautiful arrangement at a time!
Located right on Main Street in Melrose, Austin’s Floral is a locally owned flower and gift shop offering fresh and silk floral arrangements for every occasion, including birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, sympathy, prom, holidays, and those special “just because” moments. Their shop also features plants, balloons, chocolates, candles, gifts, and so much more!
With delivery available throughout Melrose and many surrounding communities, Austin’s Floral makes it easy to brighten someone’s day, no matter where they call home.
🌷 From a Home-Based Business to Main Street Business in 2024
Carrie’s journey in the floral industry spans more than 25 years. After years of experience working with flowers, she decided to take a leap of faith and build something of her own. Austin’s Floral began at home during COVID, and what started small continued to grow into the beautiful Main Street storefront the community knows today.
That growth didn’t happen overnight. It took hard work, long days, family support, and plenty of faith along the way. Today, Carrie is proud to see how far the business has come and grateful for everyone who has helped make that journey possible.
A Family Business with Heart
Running a small business means wearing many hats, and Carrie certainly does! From helping customers and ordering flowers to bookkeeping, deliveries, cleaning, and marketing, there is always something to do. And like many family-owned businesses, Austin’s Floral has plenty of family involvement behind the scenes, especially when deliveries need to be made, boxes need carrying, or the holiday rush arrives!
What truly sets Austin’s Floral apart is its commitment to personal service. Customers aren’t just order numbers. Carrie and her team take the time to get to know the people they serve, customize arrangements, work within different budgets, and help customers find something meaningful for the person receiving it.

More Than Flowers—A Commitment to Community
One of Carrie’s proudest accomplishments is growing Austin’s Floral from a home-based business into a Main Street store front while continuing to love what she does after more than two decades in the floral industry.
But the heart of this business extends beyond the shop doors.
Austin’s Floral believes in supporting the community that supports them. They get involved with local events, schools, organizations, benefits, and fellow area businesses whenever possible.
One of their favorite ways to spread kindness is through Petal It Forward, an initiative that shares bouquets simply to brighten someone’s day. Last year, Austin’s Floral gave away around 300 bouquets, reminding recipients that sometimes the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference.
And while many people know Austin’s Floral for its beautiful arrangements, they might not realize just how far Carrie and her team travel to serve customers in surrounding small towns and rural areas. Because everyone deserves a little beauty delivered to their door!
Why Melrose?
When asked what she loves most about doing business in Melrose, Carrie’s answer was simple: THE PEOPLE.
There is something special about a small-town community where people know one another, support local businesses, and show up when someone needs help. Austin’s Floral is thankful for every familiar face, every new customer, and every family who trusts them to be part of life’s most meaningful moments.
