The Bluffs: Grass-Fed Beef

I didn’t even get to post that we had new fence installed before a massive tree decided to fall on it! I found it yesterday morning, and we got it all moved and fence back to its original glory.😉. Anyway we had 7,000ft of new high tension fence installed this spring around a few pastures that I had been previously running temporary exterior fence for. There is a lot of peace of mind with it and less labor which is always nice.

Me and the boys had been seeing these guys for awhile now. Unfortunately they decided to sleep in this morning. But I got it done for them! Turkey nuggets for lunch!!!

We are still in the midst of calving. This beautiful silver will make number 22 I believe. Everyone is doing well and we are hoping for warmer weather to get things growing!🌱

Who loves grass fed Mutton?? We have one sheep going to butcher this week that we do not have a home for. It is priced at $4.50/lb hanging weight plus processing. Can be split into halves. Please reach out if interested!

The first calf of hopefully many to come. Since this one we have had another and also unfortunately lost one. Let’s hope that is it and we have a successful calving season!

Due to the construction happening downtown this summer, we will be moving to the Wright Technical Center parking lot off of 25. We will be at this location for the entirety of the 2026 season (first Saturday in May-last Saturday in October). We will return to our downtown location for 2027. Please spread the word of our move and we look forward to seeing you May 2nd!

The babies are back!
It’s been awhile since we’ve had baby pigs on the farm. This is “Love’s”💕 first time farrowing and she did great. She had five healthy littles with no losses that I am aware of. Everyone is doing well!
