Our last lamb for this year is from T&P Nehemiah's Peliah, who is a 2 horned yearling and she crawled thru 2 gates to get in with T&P Warrior's Ptachya. Peliah had a black and white ewe lamb on May 6th. We realized that she must had lambed when she wasn't with the flock when it was time to pen them up at night. So Tom went out walking to look for her. He found her at the far end of our 80 acre pasture in a clump of young pines and before he got to her, Peliah bolted and RACED for home, leaving her lamb there. She ran headlong all the way home, screaming as she ran, right to the gate. She seemed fine and became calm once in the pen with her flockmates. Tom carried the abandoned ewe lamb home and she was calling to her mom the whole way. Just another game of "hide and go Sheep". Peliah and lamb are fine and lamb has learned to run in order to keep up with Mom. Definitely enough excitement for this year.

T&P Soldier's Penelope produced twin rams on April 26th, both black and white, the one hiding behind Penelope will be a freezer lamb as he does not have enough white to register, the other has very nice color pattern. These were fathered by Painted Rock Sadler.

The next ewe is T&P Sadler's Naharah who lambed on April 23 with a black and white ram lamb and a lilac and white ewe lamb by T&P Warrior's Ptachya. Naharah is from Kreutzer Farms Norea and by Painted Rock Sadler and she produce a lovely, dense fleece with plenty of crimp and luster. Her lambs will be available after weaning.

This was the 1st lamb born on April 19th. The other ewes, Sengee and Norea are much easier to photograph than Salome. The 2nd pic is usually the view I get of Salome. Later she did cooperate!!! Yea!!! So here is T&P Phineas' Salome a 2 yr old chocolate tri ewe and she produced a black and white ewe lamb with unique markings. This cute little ewe is sired by T&P Warrior's Ptachya. She may be available after weaning.

Then Tom walked back out to find Kreutzer Farm Norea! She had picked her own spot to give birth to her lovely twin ram lambs, while I was dipping navels and vaccinating Sengee's lambs. I could hear the lambs and Norea "talking" before I could see Tom carrying them. And I was ready with shots and Betadine when he got them home. I have been trying for a ram from Norea and T&P Warrior's Ptachya for 4 years and she gave me 2 this year! One was black and white and 1 lilac and white.

April 19th was a busy day with 3 ewes lambing, Salome, Sengee and Norea. Sengee and Norea decided it was time for a game of "Hide and go Sheep"! So Tom had to go out in the pasture and look for lambs and ewes. Thank GOD he was able to find them quickly, before it got dark and carried the lambs in the the night pen for safety. Kreutzer Farm Sengee had a sweet set of twins, one ewe lamb and one ram lamb sired by Painted Rock don Quixote. The ram is black and white(to the right) and the ewe is lilac and white(to the left).

Next is our 1st set of twins for the year. Chicadee's Babydoll produced a nice black ram and a tiny lilac ewe lamb on April 15th by T&P Phineas's Nehemiah. These are the last of the lambs for Nehemiah and he has done a very good job! Babydoll is partial to the ram and we gave the ewe lamb some supplemental feedings in the first few days, but she is following mom very close now and nursing often. Babydoll certainly has enough milk for both.

Our next lamb for this year, born on April 11, 2021, is out of T&P Nomad's Pumpkin Pie, 4 horned, one of my favorite ewes for her intensely white white and clean deep black and fine, soft wool. Pie's lamb is a black and white ewe lamb who is by T&P Phineas's Nehemiah a chocolate lilac 2 horned ram. Pie little sweetie will be staying here after weaning.
