It's too hot in Kansas for pants! The hay is getting done but this little guy's chaos is never ending! Because we are a family that does as much as possible together little Mr. Elijah knows where daddy keeps the orange slices & licorice at in the truck for hay delivery days! Like a tiny raccoon breaking into the truck, he's working hard at cracking the door code! 😆

If one tractor isn't enough being broke down, let's add the second one to the list. Looks like we'll be raking with the old ford pickup to get this hay dried and try to save it from the rain that happened a couple days ago.

Finally got started haying last week, 19 bales off this little 5 acre brome/sucra grass field. Better than ever, thanks to alot of rain this year.

Little storm cleanup from last night's storm after church today. Fell on the chicken run fence, they managed to stay in while we were at church. Pretty good size tree.

Hi! I'm Lindsey, Erech's wife. I grew up in the country with many animals from horses to a goldfish, everything in between including some cows but I honestly never took to large animals.

I've been married to Mr. Chaos for nearly 13 years...I feed, I help with hay, bottle feed if need be. In short I hold lots of aspects down while he is occupied being a military guy.

One aspect I'm still needing to grow in is getting cows in when they escape....this is my way of convincing an ornery calf to go back through the fence to her mama this morning.

Another healthy heifer born! The girls are in love with this little lady & named her Buttercup! They were left to babysit while mama got some grain.
