Weather getting you down? This week has been hard, but you all have kept up our spirits by showing up. Please read this update for some important info and updates.

We have all experienced the torrential rain and storms this week. Unfortunately, we had a hail storm on Wednesday evening that has mostly damaged the apples. In the short times between rains, we've walked parts of the orchard and there's definitely bruised and broken apples, but luckily we will still have a crop.

I always say it could have been worse so we are keeping up with that mantra today. I think the building and mostly everything else took it well besides some dings to my truck.

With all the rain, I wouldn't recommend planning to cut flowers soon. I can't even walk in the field where the new flowers are right now. Mark is going to try and pick tomatoes and more pickles today. We are hoping the incoming rain will mostly go to the south.

The weather has also delayed our fall displays. I'm hoping to still get some pumpkins out later today, but corn stalks will be delayed until it dries a little. The forecast looks a little better over the next few days!

So for now, come enjoy the delicious apple pies I've been making and the fresh donuts Mark made this morning!

Our thanks to one of our favorite families tonight that helped unload 350 mums!

On one of the hottest and most humid days of the year, we got the job done in record time with many helpful hands. Everyone enjoyed slushies and donuts after for the hard work!

That means we now have well over 500 mums to choose from including 6", 9" and 12" mums!!!

Farmer Mark isn't letting the rain get in the way of harvest today. He picked quite a few bushel of pickles this morning and has more yet to pick!

We have fresh dill and garlic to fill your canning jars, or grab some more pouches of the Great Lakes Pickling Mixes to try!

We are open daily rain or shine.

If you're looking for tomatoes, we have quite a few romas available today and hoping to pick some regular canning tomatoes in between the rain as well.
