3. The hydrant is your friend. 😂

Every farm has its systems. Some are high-tech. Ours is… pink.
Our steers’ water tank takes a while to fill, so when we turn on the hydrant, someone puts the Chain of Shame around their neck. It’s our very official reminder that the water is running.
The rule is simple: the chain stays on until the water gets turned off. It may not be fancy, but it works!
