BBQ Season continued this past weekend in Kennett, Missouri - a fun contest we go to every year. Fun fact: the goldfish our daughter won at the carnival 2 years ago are still alive in the tank in our kitchen 😂

Non-victory highlights included catching up with BBQ friends, having a super easy parking spot, and our yearly walk across the street to Walmart and Mi Ranchito for chips and salsa 😂🤣

We had a solid cook and two top ten calls...
🐔Chicken 7th
🐷Pork 4th
Brisket and Ribs had okay scores but we landed 20th in each category in a stacked field.
Overall we ended up in 14th with a score of 693.6456. ...a score that's put us in the top 10 before!

We thank our Lord Jesus for every opportunity we get to become better cooks and feed people. We were able to cater a funeral this week with pork trimmings and a few extra things! BBQ and food in general is truly a ministry for us.

Thanks to Kennett Jaycees for a great event.
End of the year kids school and activity events have us home for a few weeks before we go back out!
