New Hope Urban Farm The New Hope Urban Farm is a sustainable garden run by the faculty and students of New Hope Christian Academy. The goal of the school farm is two-fold.

The ultimate goal is for the farm to become a beautiful outdoor classroom that opens students' eyes to the power and wonder of this world, while also producing enough vegetables to supplement the students’ diets in the cafeteria and simultaneously drawing in members of the immediate neighborhood. It incorporates several vegetable garden beds, planted on raised mapped-out berms on contour. The vege

table beds are planned out by the farm coordinator and then planted by the students, which we believe is the most viable method for helping students understand the importance of the connection between land, health and food.
