With goats, its always hard to get everyone looking the same direction for a photo. But when you actually get that chance to get everyone, it’s rare! Arrow is now 3 months, while Timber and Flower are 2 months old. This beautiful herd of ours is our favorite!

These past few days have been an exhilarating journey of emotions, from surprise to triumph, as we've celebrated our shared passion for the Green Country Dairy Goat Club and Show. We're thrilled to see young men and women like Savannah and Caleb showcase their exceptional breeding skills, learning from each other and the esteemed judges who offer valuable insights into these magnificent breeds. Every individual's dedication to this event is truly appreciated. Arrow thought he needed to help us out while we were cleaning out the doe barn this afternoon. Flower even joined in, I wasn’t able to get the camera up fast enough. Arrow was a big help with spreading the hay around in the wagon as it was added. Timber just watched from the safety of the stand.

Azrael is determined to reach those leaves, and with persistence, he'll find a way to make it happen. As he stands on his hind legs, he might just discover a new perspective. Perhaps he'll even strike up a conversation with the rabbit who's graciously sharing its thoughts on the lush grass it's enjoying.

This past weekend, the kids, their goats, and I made a trip to Little Rock to attend the AGPA Spring Quad Show. We had a blast, even though it was early mornings, long days, and late...LATE nights; it was still great!!! We ended the weekend with a little stop for a bite to eat at Freddy’s. What’s even better is getting ice cream to finish it all off.

To everyone who made this show possible, we would like to thank each of you. It takes not just one person, but a committee of people, from the welcoming committee to the ring stewards and secretaries, to the judges who took the time to judge each goat and kid. Also, to the families who are back home helping to care for the other animals, cheering everyone on as well.

Before we go into how all the goats did in the ring, have you ever wondered what attitude you get from a buck when he has to stay tethered in a pen? Well, let me show you what that looks like. Azrael decided he was going to jump the fence that was dividing his pen and a pen of bucks beside him. 😞

When the scary storms came through the area last night, then it turned out to be a pretty day today. Why not have fun playing, then rest. Arrow wasn’t to sure about a wasp that was on the opposite side of the fence. We hope everyone stays safe with the storms going through tonight.

We’re getting ready for the Northwest Arkansas Dairy Goat show at the end of the week. The water is a bit cold, but a nice blow drying off sure helps. The kids are excited to be attending!

After some rest and things calming down from all the excitement. The hubby and I made a trip to Iowa to bring home a surprise!! And was it a surprise alright. I can say the trip was beautiful and a nice change of scenery. From the flat harvesting fields, to the rolls of the hills, also getting to see the lays of colored rock on each side of the road.

We would like to introduce Rockin’ T Acres Vanellope, she is a 2 year old in milk. She is a lovely doe at that, she just needs some time to mature. But she will fit in very nicely.
