I absolutely LOVE getting updates like this from puppies I’ve bred!
This weekend, Haldir earned his Novice Buried Title, and as if that wasn’t exciting enough, he also received an invitation to compete at the 7th Annual AKC Fast CAT Invitational in Branson, Missouri!
I’m so incredibly proud of this boy and his owner for all the time, training, and dedication they’ve put into him. Congratulations to this amazing team! I can’t wait to see what you accomplish next!

✨Enrichment doesn't need to be hard✨

We’ve been having a long, HOT summer with lots of heat advisories, so finding easy ways to keep the dogs busy indoors has been a lifesaver!

I personally love using West Paw Toppls, Freezbones, and Woof Pupsicles. They’re easy to fill, easy to clean, and you can make them in bulk all at once and have enrichment ready to go throughout the week.

These 19 took me about 20 minutes total to fill!

For these, I kept it super simple: their regular kibble mixed with Kirkland Turkey & Vegetable wet food, (sometimes i'll add Greek Yogurt on top) Freeze them, and they’re ready to go!

Another easy one we do is “cereal.” I use their regular kibble, add goat or sheep milk, and freeze it! It’s simple, inexpensive, and the dogs love it.

Enrichment doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive. Sometimes the simplest things are the best way to keep our dogs mentally stimulated and happy, especially when it’s too hot to spend much time outside.

The puppies are officially 8 weeks old today! 😭❤️ Where has the time gone?!

They're all doing great and are currently working on crate training. Some have mastered it and happily curl up for an extra nap, while others are still singing the song of their people. 😂

This litter has been such a joy to raise, and it's hard to believe they'll soon be heading off to their new families.

It's finally photo day for the boys! We've been slacking on pictures, but they're now 6 weeks old and growing into handsome little guys.

At this time, I still have 3 blue males and 1 red male available. I won't know exactly which puppies will be available until after their structural evaluations and temperament testing.

It's the BIG 3 for the Lord of the Rings litter! 🥹💚

Where has the time gone? It feels like just yesterday I was sitting in the whelping box with Rohan, watching these babies enter the world. 💗

A day late posting, but the Homesteaders are officially 5 weeks old! They may be small, but they are mighty.

Yesterday morning the weather was actually pleasant, so the puppies got to spend some time outside before it got too hot. They had a blast exploring, playing, and taking in all the new sights and smells. As much fun as they had outside, I think they were even happier to come back inside to the air conditioning!

This morning they're back outside again, enjoying the cool morning air before the Arkansas heat sets in. They're becoming more adventurous every day, and it's so much fun watching their little personalities blossom.

In other news, I'm hoping to get stacked photos of each puppy this weekend, and their BAER hearing test appointment has officially been scheduled. I'm looking forward to seeing how everyone continues to develop over the next few weeks.
I still have some boys available!

I truly believe these puppies will make wonderful sport prospects, active companions, and potentially excellent therapy dogs if they take after their dam's outstanding temperament.
