Roasting a whole four pound Hubbard Prairie Farms chicken takes about 45-50 minutes on the grill! It's as easy as salting the cavity, then stuffing with a lemon cut into quarters, two 4" sprigs of rosemary and a sprig of sage. Set over indirect heat on a gas grill or over a cool spot away from banked coals on a charcoal grill and aim for about 400F grill temp. These Freedom Rangers have a nice layer of fat under the skin so they come out deeply golden brown and perfectly crispy!

We're live with payments! Thanks for your patience. All of the chickens will be in the 5-7 pound range by the time they go to the processor at the end of the month. For PRE-SALE, you can order at the lowest estimated weight (5 lb) and pay for them through the website. The Chickens will be whole, frozen, packaged - just like you'd buy a whole, frozen chicken at the store! The pictures on the website are just so you can see how pretty they are.

We have purchase options set up on the website now! You can order 1-9 chickens at $22.50 (4.50/lb for what we'll estimate will be 5 pound birds), and 10+ chickens at $21.25 (or 4.25/lb, also estimated at 5 pound birds)! We will have two main delivery/pick-up locations: Brainerd and Minneapolis. When we get your order we'll confirm which location you'd prefer!
