Our Utah friends just got back their bucks from the taxidermist this week. These are great examples of some big Texas typical bucks we have on Lucky Draw Ranch. Some really beautiful mounts!

If you would like a chance to harvest a big typical like these message us for one of the few remaining slot available for fall 2026.

We have started a supplemental cottonseed feeding program through the spring and summer months, in addition to our continued year round protein. We plan to monitor this first site to make sure hogs do not eat it all before increasing the feed locations. Supposedly cottonseed makes hogs sick (can only be digested by ruminants), we will see how it works out.

Had an encounter with a big rattler while setting out our cottonseed, first of the spring. Keep you eyes open when turkey hunting or looking for sheds.

We had another great hunt on our ranch this past weekend. Chad and Nathan both harvested beautiful trophy bucks (197 6/8" & 185 5/8"). We look forward to having them both back next year for another hunt and more great campfire stories.
