Howdy Menard! We have had some rough weeks full of sadness, pain and loss and we appreciate the outpouring of love and support from all of you! We will slowly make our way back to normalcy and hope to be open very soon! We will be hosting a private event this weekend to help us get back into the swing of things, and can’t wait to get back to work and nail down an open date!

We’ve been in Menard for a couple days buttoning stuff up and doing a little cleaning, we were lucky to have a little surprise help show up today! 🦒 👀

We were in town for a couple days for meetings and vendors and were blown away by the local support! We had several people stop by just to say they were praying for Sara Rubio and checking on how she was doing, mind you, these are people that have never met her. This has further solidified my belief that Menard is a special place and this is where we belong.

She has been upgraded to PICU and has woken up, started talking, has started interacting and she is doing much better!

Thank you Menard, we love you!

Western Skies is a family restaurant and as such we are having to postpone our opening date to rally around our Mom/Grandma/Mother in Law. We can’t wait to open and serve Menard but we will be be in Midland until Lil miss Sara feels better. Thank you for understanding and please say a little prayer if you get a chance!❤️🤍🩵

We took too many steps forward and never thought about the steps backwards now they are all catching up…We are saddened to say we will have to push our open date back. We will let y’all know exactly when we will open as soon as we are positive everything is perfect for you!

We had a few potential tenants hanging around our patio and couldn’t bring ourselves to evict them so they got an upgrade, because we want everyone and we mean everyone to feel welcome here at Western Skies! 🪺🐦‍⬛
