Lots of new faces around here lately, so a little reminder:

While our flower stand is open on the weekends, you can order bouquets online for pickup *any day of the week.*

Drop-ins are always welcome, but we really appreciate a heads-up. We’re a working flower farm and are often out planting, harvesting + tackling farm chores, so ordering ahead gives us a chance to plan for your pickup and have your flowers ready when you arrive.

And of course, beyond bouquets, we’re here for weddings, workshops, wholesale + all kinds of flower-filled events. ✿✿

I was talking with a well-seasoned grower yesterday, and he kept referring to this season as a “trial year.”
.. isn’t every year a trial year?

Every season we’re tweaking something. Maybe it’s seed spacing, sowing a little earlier (or later), changing planting dates, or trying a completely new variety. And then there are all the things we can’t control, weather, insects, disease.

Growing flowers is one big experiment. You’re always learning, always adjusting, always hoping the next little change makes something even better.

We’re also always trialing new varieties to keep what we grow fresh and interesting. This year one of those things was these asters... and they’re officially making the cut for 2027. We’ll be planting a lot more of them next season.

The trick with trialing new crops is starting small. You can’t afford to dedicate valuable field space to something that ends up being a complete dud.

Between holidays, heatwaves, wildfire smoke & vacations, it’s been a minute since I’ve had help prepping for the flower stand & boyyyy was it nice to have most hands on deck for our big Thursday harvest this week.

We’ll be open at 9am tomorrow, so come on out and grab a bunch or bouquet! ✿
